Report - Shauna Bannon Books Professional Debut, Tackles Kerry Isom For Cage Legacy Gold On April 9.

Tallaght-born prospect, Shauna Bannon is reportedly set for her professional mixed martial arts bow on April 9. as part of a Cage Legacy card where she is expected to clash with Kerry Isom for promotional flyweight gold.
Bannon, fresh from a gold medal victory for Team Ireland at the Senior IMMAF World Cup last September, is a staple of Holohan Martial Arts under UFC flyweight alum, Paddy Holohan.
Boasting a 9-3 amateur record ahead of her expected professional bow under the Cage Legacy banner, Bannon most recently scored a ground strikes finish win against Shanelle Dyer at Cage Legacy 15 back in December to clinch the organization’s amateur flyweight crown.. The win came as Bannon’s fifth consecutively.
For Bournemouth-based professional, Isom, the Phoenix MMA trainee is expected to make her third professional walk against Dublin-born prospect, Bannon, scoring her first professional win back in December as well with a unanimous decision win over Levi Steedman at Budo Fighting Championship 46. News of Bannon’s expected professional bow against Isom was first reported by Severe MMA reported, Ian O’Neill.
28-year-old flyweight prospect, Bannon began her amateur run back in February 2019, and from her 15 outings, managed to secure an impressive 9 victories. An alum of both Cage Conflict, and Cage Warriors Academy, Bannon landed a pair of unanimous decision wins over both Maria Haaid, Andresen, and then Karry Ann Vernon to clinch the aforenoted Senior IMMAF World Cup back in September of last year.
Before her above mentioned win over Steedman, Isom debuted professionally under the Celtic Gladiator banner in September 2021 with a late first round knockout defeat against amateur rival, Dakota Ditcheva.
