A mouth watering Welterweight clash is in the works for the UFC's next trip to Singapore, as veteran striking ace Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone faces British uprise Leon 'Rocky' Edwards. Former Lightweight title challenger Cerrone returned from a brutal losing streak and stoppage loss to Darren Till, to knockout Hawaii favourite Yancy Medeiros just last February. Kingston born Edwards featured just last March at UFC London, earning a final round, final second stoppage over Poland's Peter Sobotta to extend his undefeated reign to five. UFC Singapore is expected to take place on the 23rd of June, with a Featherweight meeting between former pound-for-pound #1 José Aldo and knockout artist Jeremy 'Lil Heaten' Stephens targetted for the event, while a Women's Flyweight clash between Jessica 'Evil' Eye and Aussie upstart Jessica-Rose Clark has been confirmed for the Kallang card.
