The Ultimate Fighter 26 quarterfinalist, Rachael Ostovich has reportedly been released from her contract with the UFC tonight.
In her sole Octagon victory, Ostovich managed a unanimous decision win over Kaine Gevorgyan at the finale of TUF 26 back in December of 2017.
The flyweight prospect, who has dropped her last three outings consecutively, becomes the latest high-profile talent to part ways with the promotion, following the release of perennial middleweight contender and multiple-time title challenger, Yoel 'Soldier of God' Romero on Friday. News of Ostovich's release was first penned by MMA Junkie reporters, Mike Bohn and Nolan King.
The Hawaiian born grappler most recently featured at UFC Vegas 15 at the end of November, dropping a third-round front-kick to the body knockout loss to Gina Mazany despite a competitive back-and-forth.
Ostovich, 29 was making her first Octagon appearance since the completion of an eight-month retroactive USADA suspension for the banned substance, GW1516, which was found in one of her supplements -- although not listed on its label.
The stoppage defeat to Mazany followed an armbar loss to recent Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship signing, Paige VanZant, as well as a rear-naked choke defeat to Montana De La Rosa.
In her sole Octagon victory, Ostovich managed a unanimous decision win over Kaine Gevorgyan at the finale of TUF 26 back in December of 2017.
