Nate Diaz eyes May or June return:

We may finally see the return of the outspoken Nate Diaz.
Polarizing UFC Lightweight figure Nate Diaz last night took to the social media platform Instagram to issue an open challenge to any potential opponent, and subsequently highlighted a targeted date for his long awaited octagon return. Last competing at UFC 202 in his rematch with yet to be stripped Lightweight king pin Conor McGregor, Diaz found himself on the wrong end of a majority decision to 'The Notorious' one. Diaz was rumored to face current UFC Welterweight champion Tyron 'The Chosen One' Woodley at the New Year's UFC 219 event, a bizarre meeting that ultimately failed to materialize.

Posting on his official Instagram account; "Sick of sitting around waiting for you f**kers to do s**t there's no excitement in this fight s**t your games up I'll see u around May, June. Sincerely The Real Champ." Surfacing later on his Twitter page (@NateDiaz209), the post garnered huge attention with former division gold holder Eddie Alvarez and title challenger Kevin Lee firing back with their own retorts. Alvarez first with; "May-June is perfect @NateDiaz209, see you then big guy." #Eastcoastbeastcoast #UFCmostviolent.

#7 ranked UFC 155lbs contender Kevin Lee then posted his feelings toward a possible match up; "Put yo money up then @NateDiaz209  or shut the f**k up and go back to riding bikes around the park."

Multiple suitors have thrown their name into the ring to welcome back Stockton's son Nate Diaz, but interestingly, one theory suggests Diaz may in fact return along with Conor McGregor in a Lightweight title rubber bout some time in July with the winner of the unclear Lightweight title fight between Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov facing the victor. Could this explain the reasoning to the lack of explanation on the potential stripping of McGregor by UFC brass Dana White?
