City look to snap up exciting winger Nolito

Manchester City are stepping up their pursuit of Celta Vigo winger Nolito and hope to secure his signature by the end of the week. Nolito who helped Celta to a 6th place finish and contributed with 12 goals. Former club FC Barcelona were rumoured to be interested in bringing the Spaniard back to the Nou Camp but couldn't reach an agreement with the side. It now looks Nolito is set to join Ilkay Gundogan at Pep Guardiola's revolution at City. The 29 year old was given his debut by Guardiola during his time in Barcelona's 'B' side and is said to have a good relationship with the former Bayern Munich coach. Another man Pep will be looking to bring to the Etihad is Gabonese forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Bundesliga said Borussia Dortmund. The pacey striker had a phenomenal season for the BVB and has attracted many suitors such as City, United, Arsenal, and Real Madrid. It was reported last month that City were in advanced talks with Thomas Tuchel's side but it is believed no other advancements were made.
