Ibrahimovic confirms his move to Manchester United on Instagram

Free agent Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced his next club will be José Mourinho's Manchester United. The 34 year old Swede becomes José Mourinho's second singing after the Red Devils snapped up Ivory Coast centre half Eric Bertrand Bailly from Villarreal earlier in the summer. Ibrahimovic who's former clubs include Ajax, Inter Milan and Barcelona, will have a medical before signing a 1 year contract with the Manchester club. Zlatan took to Instagram to confirm his 'next destination' and will be reunited with former coach Mourinho as the pair spent time together in Italy with Inter Milan. The Swedish striker recently announced his retirement from international football after his country failed to reach the last 16 of the European Championships in France. Ibrahimovic follows in the footsteps of compatriot Henrik Larsson who secured a season long loan to United at the tailend of his career. The introduction of Zlatan to the Old Trafford setup could prove to be a stroke of genius by the 'Special One' with his hope of bringing success back to the Theatre of Dreams. Many critics have slammed the idea of the signing of one of the most mecurial and controversial players in the game with many questioning of an egotistical coach and player will compliment each other.
