Lawler V Woodley: How it will go down

UFC 201's main event see's UFC Welterweight Champion 'Ruthless' Robbie Lawler defend his title successfully for a 3rd time against heavy hitter, Tyron 'The Chosen One' Woodley. Lawler is coming off two wars against Carlos Condit and Canadian Rory MacDonald. Condit took Lawler the distance but eventually loss a split decision, while Lawler eventually held out and knocked out Rory MacDonald at UFC 189. Lawler, renowned for his ability t take punishment and his durability in the octagon, can expect another rough night when he takes on powerhouse Woodley. NCAA champion Woodley, feels very relaxed and confident ahead of his bout with Lawler and believes he'll just be 'too fast' for his fellow American. Woodley has the distinct wrestling advantage over Lawler and will look to take this fight to the ground and wear him out from there whenever given the opportunity. 

Lawler will certainly have no problem going the distance against Woodley and he will most like in my opinion grind out a decision victory. If Lawler overcomes Woodley, a fight against Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson awaits, and in my opinion he loses his title against the most exciting striker in the UFC.
