GSP chokes out Michael Bisping to claim the Middleweight crown:

4 years out, and we have a new 185lbs king.
Our main event of the evening sees the long awaited return of former Welterweight kingpin Georges St-Pierre as the Canadian ends his 4 year hiatus against current Middleweight champion Michael 'The Count' Bisping. The two time Welterweight phenom makes his Middleweight debut tonight as he strives to become a two division UFC champion. Promising to knock out Georges and retain his title for a second time, Britain's Michael Bisping is of course the naturally larger opponent, competing at Light Heavyweight multiple times.

'Big' John McCarthy was our third man in the octagon for this possible five round barnburner. The opening round seen a couple of leg kicks land early for GSP. A good overhand right landed clean for 'Rush' who was maintaining octagon control confidently in the early openings. Tentative start from Bisping who may have the wrestling pedigree of St-Pierre resting on his conscience. A second right hand found it's home for Georges as Michael bided his time fighting from the fence. The first shoot for Georges proved successful as a high crotch single leg planted Bisping on his back. Dominant first round for the returning St-Pierre.

Round two began with a side kick attempt from 'Rush' with Bisping still tentative in any exchanges. A second step in side kick scored to the body for GSP with Bisping starting to search for his jab. A solid right hand shook St-Pierre as Bisping landed his best shot so far. A second single leg was yet again successful for Georges with Bisping springing back up and landing that dangerous right shot again. Notable deep breathes from GSP heading into the last minute of the second round. Bisping had to replace his broken cup in the second round interval.

Three shoots from the high crotch from GSP all proved to be successful, but took some slashing elbows from Bisping off his back. A quite significant cut on the nose and eye of GSP as the claret began to impair the vision of the Canadian. A sweet left hook dropped Bisping with severe ground and pound dazing Bisping further who gave up his back and subsequently his neck, allowing Georges to lock up a rear naked choke, with Bisping going out cold. Three new champs ladies and gentlemen.
