Conor McGregor Arrested In Miami Beach After Altercation With A Fan:

More trouble for 'The Notorious'.

Conor McGregor's long history with law enforcement spelled a new chapter late last night,
with the former Featherweight and Lightweight world champion finding himself in hot water with the authority after a reported altercation with an eager fan. McGregor who is currently in Miami with his family has been charged with strong-arm robbery and criminal mischief after he is alleged to have slapped a phone out of a man's hand, and repeatedly stomped on it before walking away with it. This isn't the first run in McGregor has had with a fan, when a viral video emerged last year in where a fan is seen filming Conor in his car before the Crumlin native attempts to grab the phone from his hand.

The arrest report from the Miami Beach Police Department states how McGregor was seen leaving the Fontainebleu hotel with the fan in the early hours of Monday morning before the altercation. Subsequently arrested and brought to the Miami-Dade jail, Conor was issued a $12,500 bond which he posted upon his release.

The Dublin native recently completed his community service in Brooklyn after his involvement in the infamous bus incident back at UFC 223 which involved maintenance of a city church. 'The Notorious' one was charged with criminal mischief and misdemeanor assault on that occasion. Handed a six month retroactive ban by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for his involvement in the UFC 229 post fight brawl with Khabib Nurmagomedov, McGregor is eligible to return to active competition on April 6th. A rumored clash with Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone has both built and lost a head of steam in recent weeks but this infringement with the law may scupper his Octagon return further.

McGregor was released from Miami-Dade jail on Tuesday although a future court date is yet to be determined.
