Former UFC welterweight title challenger, Darren 'The Gorilla' Till has been forced out of his UFC Vegas 16 headliner with fellow middleweight contender, Jack 'The Joker' Hermansson due to injury - with the always active, Kevin 'The Trailblazer' Holland now clashing with Hermansson on short-notice.

Till was slated to make his third appearance at 185-pounds in an attempt to return to the win column following a close unanimous decision defeat to former division champion, Robert 'The Reaper' Whittaker in July at UFC Fight Island 3. ESPN MMA reporter, Brett Okamoto was first to report the news of Till's withdrawal due to injury, as well as Holland's short-notice insertion.

Also featuring at a UFC Fight Island event in July at UFC Fight Island 2, Swedish born finisher, Hermansson rebounded to the winner's enclosure with a quickfire first-frame heel hook submission win over common-foe, one-time interim title chaser, Kelvin Gastelum.

Hoping to score a record-setting fifth consecutive win at middleweight in a calendar year, the charismatic, Holland most recently featured a UFC Vegas 12 last weekend, scoring a submission to slam win over Charlie Ontiveros. The victory followed prior wins over Darren Stewart, Joaquin Buckley, and Anthony Hernandez.

While details surrounding Till's recent injury are yet to be disclosed, the popular Liverpool native had suffered a debilitating MCL injury during his above-noted defeat to Whittaker this summer. The counter striker had noted his intentions to employ a different gameplan than usual to get Hermansson out of there early in December - but this matchup will have to happen at a different date.
