Anthony Pettis returns to Lightweight at UFC 213 against Jim Miller:

Former champ Pettis looking for Lightweight rebirth against Jim Miller.
Former champ Anthony 'Showtime' Pettis will return to his old stomping ground at UFC 213, when he features agaisnt division veteran Jim Miller. After an unsuccessful spell at Featherweight including a botched weight cut and a subsequent loss to Max Holloway, Pettis will once more try his hand at 155lbs, despite losing by decision in his most previous three clashes at that weight.

Pettis was first outclassed by Rafael Dos Anjos in his title loss, before two consecutive losses to Eddie Alvarez and then Brazilian Muay Thai expert Edson Barboza. Despite recent form in the octagon, 'Showtime' has stopped prominent names in the form of Joe Lauzon, 'Cowboy' Cerrone and in their second meeting submitted Benson Henderson to win his third career title.

One of the most seasoned Lightweight stars in the promotion, Jim Miller is a fantastic grappler, but was dealt with by Dustin Poirier in his most recently bout, as his impressive three fight win streak drew to it's conclusion. Back at UFC 200, Miller finished former PRIDE FC Lightweight champ Takanori Gomi with ease, before decisioning both Diego Sanchez and Thiago Alves. High risk situation for Pettis, but if Miller claims the W, he will add 'Showtime' to his list of skilled weathered opponents.
