Both Nick and Nate Diaz rumoured to feature on UFC 213 card:

Could you imagine this card!
Two of the most game and popular stars in the sports history, both Nick and Nate Diaz could find themselves back in action on the same card this July during International Fight Week, at UFC 213, as rumours circulate that Tyron Woodley will be attempting to defend his Welterweight crown against Nick, while younger brother Nate, may feature in the co-main event against Tony Ferguson for the Interim Lightweight title, with the winning party facing Conor McGregor for the undisputed title. Nick has of course been out of action since his eventual no contest against former Middleweight king Anderson Silva, while Nate witnessed a meteoric rise in his following and status after his double header against the aforementioned McGregor, where he was both victorious and unfortunate against 'The Notorious'.

When 'The Chosen One' Tyron Woodley announced that he had begun his fight camp and confirmed that he will headline UFC 213 in Nevada, speculation was rife with who the wrestler could face. With top contender Demian Maia featuring alongside Jorge Masvidal at UFC 211, and former champ Robbie Lawler returning against 'Cowboy' Cerrone on the July card, the only realistic option available was Nick Diaz. The former Strikeforce and WEC champion is a reknowed Gracie Jiu-Jitsu black belt and a dangerous boxer who could cause Tyron some panic, and his mental warfare could have fight altering implications on the St. Louis striker.

After his phenomenal rematch with Conor McGregor at UFC 202, Nate Diaz told UFC colour commentator Joe Rogan how he wouldn't be seen in the octagon again unless he was facing Conor, but with 'El Cucuy' fast approaching Lightweight stardom, the Stockton striker may be forced to face Ferguson before entering a rubber match with McGregor. A victory for Nate would add even more value and weight to an already exciting third spectacle, but could you imagine the title implications?

With Bantamweight champ Cody 'No Love' Garbrandt putting all the marbles on the line against former Team Alpha teammate and champ T.J. Dillashaw, a monumental Heavyweight clash between Fabrício Werdum and Alistair Overeem confirmed and the dream matchup between 'Ruthless' and 'Cowboy', UFC 213 is shaping up to be card of the year. Just imagine the possible matchups if Nick features and exits the contest on top, we could finally see Diaz V Lawler II, or Nick facing previous Nate opponent Cerrone and not to forget a grappling matchup alongside Demian Maia or a standup war with Jorge Masvidal.
