Alexander Gustafsson V Glover Teixeira: What will go down:

Arboga born Gustafsson has twice unsuccessfully competed for UFC gold, losing two incredibly close decisions to first Jon 'Bones' Jones, before a split decision defeat at the hands of Daniel 'DC' Cormier at UFC 192. With an impressive professional record of 17-4, 'The Mauler{s}' only other substantial losses occurred against the recently retired 'Rumble' Johnson, and current Bellator Light Heavyweight kingpin Phil Davis.
Long time UFC veteran Glover Teixeira on the otherhand is a wiley competitor with an incredible 12 appearances in the octagon, stopping the likes of former champs 'Rampage' Jackson, Rashad Evans and Knoxville native Ovince Saint Preux. Teixeira is the holder of 15 impressive KO wins, but is also a reknowed 2nd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under 'The Pit' master Luigi Mondelli.
In the striking exchanges I'd certainly point to Gustafsson as the more creative and dynamic striker, especially with his reputable kicks but I'd equally favour Glover in any grappling exchanges between the two Light Heavyweight behemoths. Gustafsson needs a much better opening than his win over Jan Błachowicz, as with a competitor like Glover, he won't let you rag doll him in the latter rounds. I believe 'The Mauler' will cleverly out-point Teixeira throughout the night, utilising his kicking arsenal and his speed advantage on his way to a title shot earning decision win.
