Joanna Jędrzejczyk remains Strawweight queen with phenomenal performance:

Absolute striking masterpiece from Joanna Jędrzejczyk.
The most dominant female in MMA today looks to not only retain that title, but also her UFC Women's Strawweight title, as Polish superstar Joanna Jędrzejczyk faces Brazilian powerhouse Jéssica 'Bate Estaca' Andrade in the co-main event of UFC 211. Both are phenomenal strikers but In entirely different ways. Joanna is a precise, patient and volume over power puncher while Andrade is an aggressive, all or nothing thrower who can shut out the lights of anyone if allowed a chance. A BJJ purple belt, earns Andrade the title of the most dangerous opponent Jędrzejczyk has faced to date, and could very well bring an end to her incredible title reign.

The opening of five scheduled rounds began with a leg kick for Joanna before Jéssica threw hands back at the Pole. A right hand over the top scored big for Andrade, forcing Jędrzejczyk back. A big takedown scored for Andrade, but Joanna recovered expertly to score from the clinch after standing back up. The Muay Thai base of Joanna was on display, constantly scoring with stiff leg kicks.

The second period began with more movement and leg kicks for Joanna, with technical striking the difference so far. Leg kicks were followed by well timed front kicks from the champ, who looked comfortable so far. A technical masterclass so far for Jędrzejczyk was handing her the second round aswell, before straight from Andrade tagged Joanna. A powerful jab was followed by a huge head kick for Jędrzejczyk as the round ended.

The third started with more striking from both, but it's clear to see that Jéssica needs to turn this into a dogfight, as kicks bruised the thigh and calf of Andrade. The main story of this bout so far was the damaging leg kicks and stiff jabs of Jędrzejczyk. Andrade was walking through the strikes so far, as she looked to land some hooks on the entry. Jędrzejczyk landed a similar high kick once more as the third drew to a close.

Andrade's leg was getting undeniably chewed up by Joanna, as the champ was on top form heading into the fourth. A massive right high kick landed flush for Jędrzejczyk as the Pole looked hugely dominant. Another straight and jab combination wobbled the head of Jéssica, as Joanna out struck the Brazilian. Andrade was noticeably frustrated with her lack of wrestling success, with Jędrzejczyk rising straight to her feet. End of the fourth, so far all Joanna Jędrzejczyk.

The fifth and final round began with glove touch from both before Joanna got straight down to business with jabs and leg kicks. Jędrzejczyk was looking as fresh in the final round and she did in the first, as her cardio and the rest of her game looked flawless. With just one minute remaining in the bout, Jęssica Andrade was still plodding forward absorbing shots, while searching for the KO shot, which eluded her as the fight concluded. Unbelievable performance from Joanna Jędrzejczyk as she completely outclassed Andrade on her way to a comfortable decision win and successful title defence.
