Tony Ferguson Responds To Nate Diaz: All You Do Is Bitch Out

Despite recent claims from UFC president, Dana White that former interim lightweight champion, Tony Ferguson won't be welcoming Stockton native, Nate Diaz back to the 155-pound division, that hasn't stopped the former titleholder from firing some barbs at the latter.

Ferguson, who has dropped his last two Octagon appearances consecutively, saw his division-tying twelve-fight unbeaten streak halted last May as he dropped a punishing fifth-round knockout loss to fellow one-time interim gold holder, Justin Gaethje.

Attempting to rebound to winning ways in his next Octagon walk, Ferguson met with Sao Paulo grappling sensation, Charles Oliveira back at UFC 256 in December, suffering a second straight defeat for the first time in his thirty-fight career in a dominant, three-round unanimous decision blemish. 

While speculation continues to spiral in regards to who Diaz could meet in his return to the UFC, the above mentioned, White detailed that The Ultimate Fighter 5 winner wouldn't be making his return against Ferguson, however, the pairing offered him and his so-far unnamed opponent, an opportunity to enter title contention with a win.

Continuing his war of words with the number-one ranked, Dustin Poirier over this week, Diaz claimed that he was a welterweight "Nick Diaz Army soldier", before claiming "f**k a weight class" ahead of a speculated reworked matchup against the Lafayette favourite. 

Taking umbrage with Diaz's claims, Ferguson himself maintained that Diaz always bitched out of fights, before telling him to "shut the f**k up".

"All you (Nate Diaz) do is bitch out," Ferguson wrote. "You don't want no squabbles from a real fighter. 170lbs or 155lbs... sit down and STFU casual."

For Diaz, his most recent Octagon outing came at UFC 244 in November of 2019 in the main event at a Madison Square Garden return. Battling with Jorge Masvidal for the symbolic BMF championship, Diaz suffered a one-sided beating before a third-round doctor's stoppage after he suffered a sizeable laceration on his cheek and right eyebrow.
