Report - Movsar Evloev vs. Hakeem Dawodu Added To UFC 263 On June 12th.

An exciting featherweight matchup between the #15 ranked, Movsar Evloev and Canadian contender, Hakeem Dawodu has been booked for UFC 263 on June 12th. -- with a location or venue for the pay-per-view event yet to be determined by the promotion.

Evloev, 27, has won his last first four Octagon outings, stretching his undefeated professional record to 14-0. Most recently featuring at UFC 257 on 'Fight Island' in January, the Russian scored a split decision win over the now-retired, Nik Lentz. 

Taking five consecutive victories, Dawodu also travelled to 'Fight Island' in Abu Dhabi, UAE for his most recent Octagon outing -- besting Zubaira Tukhugov in September at UFC 253. The victory improved his professional record to 12-1-1. News of the eye-catching matchup was first reported by MMA DNA reporter, Marcel Dorff.

Evloev, a former M-1 Global undisputed bantamweight champion, landed in the UFC back in April of 2019 at UFC Fight Night St. Petersburg -- taking home a unanimous decision victory over Seung Woo Choi.

Taking a trio of decision wins since, the prominent grappler took home judging wins over Enrique Barzola, Team Kaobon mainstay, Mike Grundy, as well as the above-mentioned veteran, Lentz.

Calgary, Alberta native, Dawodu put debut woes behind him, scoring five straight victories since a quickfire standing guillotine loss to Danny Henry at UFC Fight Night London in March of 2018. In victories since, the 29-year-old managed to score unanimous judging wins over both Austin Arnett and Kyle Bochniak, before a high-kick knockout victory over Yoshinori Horie. Prior to his 'Fight Island' win over Tukhugov, Dawodu managed another split judging win over Julio Arce.
