Carlos Condit Forced From UFC Washington Bout With Mickey Gall Due To Injury

Carlos Condit has been sidelined and forced from a December date with Mickey Gall.

Former Interim UFC and undisputed WEC welterweight best, Carlos 'The Natural Born Killer' Condit, has been forced to withdraw from his UFC Fight Night Washington meeting with Mickey Gall in December, due to injury. The story was first reported by Mike Bohn and John Morgan from MMA Junkie. Condit, has dropped five losses in a row since his 2017 welterweight title challenge against then gold-holder, 'Ruthless' Robbie Lawler. Submission specialist Gall, best known for his quick-fire victory over C.M. Punk, is expected to remain on the card as he looks to extend his win streak to two after a victory over Salim Touahri in August.

Albuquerque native Condit, a true veteran of the sport, has managed to pick up career highlight wins over the likes of Thiago Alves, Martin Kampmann, Nick Diaz, Dan Hardy, Rory MacDonald, Brock Larson, 'Stungun' Kim and Jake Ellenberger to name a few. The form of the 35-year-old has taken an alarming dip over the course of the previous three years. After his Fight of the Year contender with the aforementioned Lawler at UFC 195, Condit dropped defeats to Demian Maia, Neil Magny, Alex 'Cowboy' Oliveira and Michael Chiesa.
