Jorge Masvidal labels Conor McGregor a "f**king midget".

UFC 244 headliner Jorge 'Gamebred' Masvidal, has issued a warning to former two-weight world champion, 'The Notorious' Conor McGregor ahead of a potential meeting of the pair. The Florida native, claimed the BMF championship on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden, via a third round doctor's stoppage over Nate Diaz, in a one-sided display from the American Top Team staple. At the post-fight press conference, Masvidal was asked about the possibility of a matchup with the Dubliner in the future, who has outlined his plan to challenge for the BMF crown after his expected January 18th. meeting with Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone.

Masvidal, who has been rumored to meet up with the former lightweight and featherweight champion in the past year, had this to say about a possible clash. "I don't know man, that dude (Conor McGregor) has been talking wild for a second. If he fights and gets a victory, and he wants this? Some of you motherf**kers are mean man, cause you know what the fuck I'll do to that little dude bro. I'll f**k that little guy up man, he's a f**king midget. Dana White, the president of this motherf**king company said I'm too much man for him. I get it why people want to see him hurt for the stunts he's been pulling. But he don't want this s**t, he's just talking to get his name out there. He was cheering for Nate (Diaz) he wanted  to run it back with Nate (Diaz). You think he's at home seeing that fight saying I want to fight that dude? That dude ain't retarded. You see he punches old people in the face cause that's the fights that he could win. He don't want this s**t. You know he doesn't want this s**t, Dana (White) and them might try to promote it, I don't even think Dana (White) is going to try and promote it. You can't get that dude to sign a paper."

In response to Masvidal's comments during the post-fight press event, McGregor took to his official Twitter account to hint at a fight with Masvidal, using one of the welterweight's infamous catchphrases. @TheNotoriousMMA - "Hey @BurgerKing, could I get a 3 piece with soda and a side chicken box please? Loads of salt and vinegar. Thanks"

Masvidal extended his win streak at welterweight to three at UFC 244, adding Stockton's Diaz to a list which includes Ben Askren and fellow event winner, Darren Till. McGregor on the other hand, announced his comeback during a recent tour of Russia and Ukraine. The Crumlin counter striker has called for a January 18th. return, before a challenge for the BMF crown and then a lightweight title siege against either Khabib Nurmagomedov or Tony Ferguson. McGregor's opponent on January 18th. is widely expected to be former UFC and WEC lightweight title chaser, Donald Cerrone.
