3-0 professional boxer, Jake Paul has opened as a slight betting favourite over former undisputed UFC welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley -- ahead of an agreed-upon professional boxing match later this year under on a Showtime promoted pay-per-view event.

Paul and Woodley have both been linked to a showdown over the course of the last month, following the former's first round knockout win over former UFC welterweight contender, Ben Askren in April -- who happens to be Woodley's Roufusport training partner.

Following his March D'Arce choke loss to Vicente Luque at UFC 260, former 170lbs kingpin, Woodley parted ways with the UFC following an eight-year stay, which culminated with a period of four consecutive defeats. The matchup with Paul will come as Woodley's first professional boxing match.

A date, venue, or location for the matchup of Paul and Woodley has yet to be announced, however, the two are slated to appear at a face-off this Friday in Miami, Florida in a bid to promote the fight, where those details will be revealed. Jake's elder brother, Logan Paul is also set to make an exhibition boxing match appearance on June 6th. against former world champion, Floyd Mayweather at the Hard Rock Stadium at the Miami Gardens this weekend.

Prior to his first round knockout win over Askren, Paul had scored a pair of knockout victories over former NBA player, Nate Robinson on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. last year -- after another opening round knockout over fellow YouTuber, AnEsonGib.
