Cage Warriors Champion Jake Hadley Set For September DWCS Appearance Against Kleydson Rodrigues

Cage Warriors undisputed flyweight champion, Jake 'White Kong' Hadley is set to feature on Dana White's Contender Series on September 21st. -- as he tackles Jungle Fight gold holder, Kledyson 'KR' Rodrigues in a bid to earn a contract with the UFC. The event is scheduled to take place at the UFC Apex facility.

Hadley, undefeated as a professional with a 7-0 record, captured the undisputed Cage Warriors flyweight championship back in December last year, handing the then-undefeated titleholder, Luke Shanks a unanimous decision loss. Ever since the victory, Hadley had been linked to a transition to the UFC, and on September 21st. -- he'll get the opportunity to land under the promotion's banner. 

For the 6-1 professional, Rodrigues he claimed the vacant Jungle Fight flyweight championship last October in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil -- submitting the undefeated, Team Nogueira trainee, Eduardo Henrique da Silva with a rear-naked choke. 

Birmingham native, Hadley featured twice under the Graham Boylan-led Cage Warriors banner twice, taking a first round knockout win over Shadjidul Haque prior to his unanimous judging, title-clinching effort against Shanks. 

Prior to his brief run with Cage Warriors, Hadley managed a third round rear-naked choke over Straight Blast Gym mainstay, Blaine O'Driscoll under the Bellator banner. From his seven professional triumphs, Hadley has taken three knockout wins to go with a further two submission stoppages. 

Hadley's management firm, Paradigm Sports confirmed the news of his feature on Dana White's Contender Series in September, posting on their official Twitter account.
