UFC 263 Salaries - Israel Adesanya, Marvin Vettori Scoop $500k, $350k Respectively

Headlining UFC 263 last weekend in Glendale, Arizona, middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori topped the list for the highest earners from the pay-per-view event -- netting a disclosed salary of $500,000 and $350,000, respectively.
Per the Arizona Department of Gaming, which oversees the state's athletic commission, Adesanya and Vettori earned the highest payment from the pay-per-view event -- as they disclosed partial payment. Taking main event status, City Kickboxing ace, Adesanya managed to score his second career victory over Vettori in the form of a shutout unanimous decision win.
In the night's co-headliner, challenger, Brandon Moreno clinched the undisputed flyweight championship with a third round rear-naked choke over titleholder, Deiveson Figueiredo in a rematch of their December Fight of the Year candidate last year. For his efforts, the newly-minted champion netted a disclosed $200,000 -- while defeated champion, Figueiredo scored $210,000.
Prior to the doubleheader of title fights, the promotion fielded their first-ever five round, non-title, non-main event bout in their history, as the #3 ranked, welterweight challenger, Leon Edwards managed to take home a unanimous decision victory over the returning fan favourite, Nate Diaz. In his disclosed payment, Edwards reportedly took home a purse of $220,000 -- while Diaz netted $250,000. (H/T MMA Fighting)
