An eye-catching middleweight pairing between renowned knockout artists, Joaquin 'New Mansa' Buckley, and Abdul 'Judo Thunder' Razak Alhassan is currently in the works to land on a UFC Fight Night 200 event on January 15. At the time of publication, the promotion have yet to determine a venue or location for the event.

27-year-old prospect, Buckley rebounded to the winner's enclosure at UFC Vegas 37 in September, stopping Antonio Arroyo with a third round knockout. The knockout win earned Buckley his third Performance of the Night bonus under the promotion's banner.

For Ghana-born striker, Alhassan, the 36-year-old snapped a disappointing three-fight losing streak at UFC Vegas 25 in August -- stopping common-foe, Alessio Di Chirico with a brutal, stunning high-kick inside 17-seconds of the opening round. News of the targeted bout was first reported by MMA Ideas on Instagram.

An alum of both Bellator MMA and LFA, St. Louis upstart, Buckley made his Octagon bow in an eventual third round knockout loss to Kevin Holland, before embarking on a two-fight winning spree over both Impa Kasanganay and Jordan Wright -- the first of which brought Buckley viral fame off the back of a stunning, Knockout of the Year spinning back kick stoppage at UFC Fight Island 5 last October.

Before his knockout win over Arroyo, Buckley dropped a huge high-kick knockout loss to the aforenoted, Di Chirico in the opening round of UFC on ABC 1 on 'Fight Island' back in January. Boasting a 13-4 professional record, Buckley has managed to land 10 separate knockout wins.

11-4 as a professional, Alhassan will look to continue with his 100 percent finish rate from those winning bouts -- having managed to find a knockout in each and every one of his professional victories.

Before his win over Di Chirico in August, Alhassan returned to the Octagon with a trio of defeats against Jacob Malkoun, Khaos Williams, and Mounir Lazzez.

Alhassan has managed to score a quarter of stunning knockout victories over Charlie Ward, Sabah Homasi (x2), and stopped Niko Price in impressive fashion in less than a minute at UFC 228 in September 2018.

UFC Fight Night 200 takes place on January 15. -- with an exciting featherweight matchup between the #5 ranked, Calvin Kattar and the surging, #8 rated striker, Giga Chikadze expected to take headlining honors at the event.
