Cris 'Cyborg' vs.Tonya Evnger: What will go down:

Brazil could have a second female UFC champ tonight.
The greatest female mixed-martial artist in history fights for her premier UFC title tonight as she takes on promotion debutante Tonya ''Triple Threat'' Evinger in the first title fight of the evening, as the vacant Women's Featherweight crown is up for grabs. 'Cyborg' has graced the UFC octagon just twice, starching Leslie Smith before displaying her already recognised striking prowess as she similarly finished Lina Lansberg. Evinger who held the Invicta Bantamweight championship up until her signing with the UFC, has been cruising on an astonishing 11 fight win streak, holding the Bantamweight crown since summer 2015. Controversial inaugural champ Germaine de Randamie was forced to vacate her title due to inactivity and unwillingness to face 'Cyborg', so a matchup between the former Invicta champ and Featherweight queen Megan Anderson was scheduled for the event, but Visa issues prevented the Aussie from facing the Brazilian.

Brazil's Justino has been arguably the most dominant female in the history of MMA, with a stunning record of 17-1, with her only falter coming in her professinal bow back in 2005 against Erica Paes. Justino has faced some really high level competition throughout her career, overcoming Marloes Coenen, Gina Carano, Faith Van Duin and sport vet Charmaine Tweet. The Curitiba native will be looking to add most certainly her biggest accolade to date in the form of UFC gold to her already glimmering trophy cabinet, which houses the Invicta and Strikeforce Featherweight title, and her 2011 and 2012 IBJJ World Jiu-Jitsu Championship gold medals, making her both one of the most feared, and one of the most successful.

Missouri submission specialist Tonya Evinger certainly presents a credible challenger to 'Cyborg' despite her lack of experience at Featherweight, establishing a decent 19-5 professional record. Evinger competed against top contender Raquel Pennington on the The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rousey vs. Team Tate: season, losing via second round guillotine. Eye catching victories for Evinger have come against current Invicta matchmaker Julie Kedzie, Sarah Schneider, Coleen Schneider, Irena Aldana and Yuna Kunitskaya, but twice lost via rear-naked choke to Alexis Davis and has been defeated by Sara McMann and Gina Carano.

In my opinion, a natural Featherweight meeting between 'Cyborg' and the aforementioned Megan Anderson may produce a more competitive meeting, in what should be a quite routine night for Justino, if she can establish that dominant striking and aggressor style, while Evinger must utilise her wrestling and grappling if she is to trouble 'Cyborg'.

Cris 'Cyborg' via knockout.
