Ricardo Lamas makes quick work of Jason Knight.

Our featured UFC 214 Prelim sees an intriguing Featherweight grappling matchup between #3 ranked Ricardo Lamas, and surging star Jason 'The Kid' Knight. Former title challenger Lamas submitted Charles Oliviera last time out, while Knight scored a stunning stoppage against Chas Skelly.

Referee Mike Beltran was our man in the middle for this one, with Lamas landing a good straight right clean early on in the opening round. Lamas shot for a high double leg, with Jason Knight attempting a guillotine, before he was eventually takendown. Jason Knight secured an almost rubber guard allowed very little offence from Ricardo Lamas, Lamas almost fell victim to a leg lock before exploding and landing incredible strikes on the feet, with heart and will the only thing keeping Jason Knight on his feet. Knight stumbled for a frail double leg and attempted to pull guard allowing Lamas to seize further control and finish from stacked guard with damaging ground and pound. Impressive from 'The Bully'.
