Charles 'Do Bronx' Oliveira has finally reached the summit of the UFC. Rallying from some early first round adversity, the Sao Paulo native is now strapped with undisputed lightweight spoils -- knocking out the #4 ranked, Michael Chandler.

Headlining UFC 262, Oliveira extended his undefeated run to a whopping nine fights, but more importantly if you question him -- he's finally secured gold under the promotion's banner.

It wasn't all plain sailing for the Diego Lima Chute Boxe trainee, however, suffering and weathering some early first round adversity against Missouri challenger, Chandler. Chopping at the Sanford MMA mainstay's leg early, Oliveira was counted with a right hand and immediately shot for a double-leg takedown.

Stuffing and sprawling straight into a guillotine attempt, Chandler seemed to have Oliveira in some notable trouble, only for the Brazilian to pop his head out.

Giving up his back, Chandler was almost on the brink of a rear-naked choke, with Oliveira established back mount and securing a body triangle.

Returning to the feet, Chandler uncorked a shot, stunning and dropping Oliveira to his knees. Seemingly in a perilous situation, Oliveira managed to gather his senses and see a second round.

Exploding in the second within the opening exchange, Oliveira sprang with a counter left hook, rocking and sending Chandler spinning back to the fence. Following up with a heavy right hand and then a left hook as Chandler attempted to evade, Oliveira forced referee, Dan Miragliotta to separate to the two -- ultimately crowing him as the undisputed, official, minted king of the promotion's lightweights.
