Dominique Wooding vs. Nathan Fletcher Booked To Headline Cage Warriors 127 On September 30th.

A vacant bantamweight title bout between Dominique Wooding and Nathan Fletcher has been booked to take headlining honours at Cage Warriors 127 on September 30. -- as part of the organization's Trilogy billed showcase from York Hall in London, England.

Per a release from the European organization this afternoon, Wooding and the undefeated, Fletcher will meet for the vacant bantamweight title, after Jack Cartwright completed his contract with the organization, with both parties agreeing to part ways.

25-year-old knockout artist, Wooding enters his vacant bantamweight title fight against the undefeated, Fletcher boasting a 7-4 professional record -- which most recently features a high-kick knockout win over Cameron Hardy in May at Cage Warriors 124.

Next Generation MMA Liverpool mainstay, Fletcher scored his fourth career rear-naked choke victory at the same Cage Warriors 124 event in May -- retaining an improving his undefeated record with a submission stoppage over Brian Bouland in the opening round. 

Making his promotional debut under the Graham Boylan-led Cage Warriors banner back in May following a three-fight stint with Bellator MMA -- Wooding has lodged a 100 per cent finish rate throughout his career -- finishing each of his seven opponents by knockout. 

The Great British Top Team trainee has managed to take home notable stoppage wins over upcoming Brave CF co-headliner, Blaine O'Driscoll, as well as Iuri Bejenari, Lionel Moreno, David Khalsa, as well as the above-mentioned, Hardy.

A lethal submission threat, Fletcher also boasts a 100 per cent finish rate from his six professional outings, submitting five opponents and stopping the other with strikes. 

The 23-year-old prospect has managed to take home four rear-naked chokes, an arm-triangle win and a further first round knockout -- besting the likes of Rico Biggs, Ciaran Mulholland, Michele Martignoni, and the aforenoted, Bouland.
