Pedro Carvalho Returns, Meets Daniel Weichel At Bellator Dublin On November 5th.

A featherweight showdown between former Bellator championship challengers, Daniel 'Drake' Weichel and Pedro 'The Game' Carvalho has been booked to open the main card of Bellator Dublin on November 5. from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
German veteran, Weichel, currently holds the #6 rank in the official Bellator featherweight pile, and looks to score his second straight victory when pitted with Carvalho -- following a prior split decision win over Keoni Diggs with a split decision win back in June at Bellator 265.
For Portuguese submission specialist, Carvalho -- the November outing against Weichel offers him the chance to snap a recent two-fight knockout skid, which included a prior April ground strikes loss to Jay Jay Wilson at Bellator 257. The promotion confirmed the pairing of Weichel and Carvalho in a press release this Thursday evening.
Michelstradt veteran, Weichel is booked for his stunning 54. professional walk, and boasts and impressive 41-12 professional record.
The slick submission ace has managed to lodge a staggering 22 separate submission stoppage wins across his storied career.
The 36-year-old is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under UFC alum, Din Thomas and has submitted the likes of Dennis Siver, Magomedrasul Khasbulaev, Desmond Green, and Carvalho's Straight Blast Gym stablemate, Brian Moore.
Littered on his sizeable winning record, Weichel has also defeated the likes of Saul Rogers, Emmanuel Sanchez, Georgi Karakhanyan, and Pat Curran under the Bellator banner, and has twice unsuccessfully challenged for featherweight gold against former champion, Patricio Pitbull.
Featuring in the Bellator featherweight World Grand Prix, Carvalho headlined Bellator 252 back in November -- dropping an opening round knockout loss to eventual finalist, Pitbull.
In four other outings for 26-year-old grappler, Carvalho -- the Dublin-based finisher mad waves with a quartet of victories over Daniel Crawford, Luca Vitali, as well as stoppage wins over both Derek Campos and an opening round tournament win over Sam Sicilia.
Bellator Dublin takes place on November 5. from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland -- with Carvalho's teammates, James Gallagher and Peter Queally also featuring in main event and co-main event showcases, respectively. Gallagher takes on one-time bantamweight title chaser, Patchy Mix -- While Queally draws Patricky Pitbull in a high-stakes rematch.
