Recent UFC signing and former Cage Warriors welterweight champion, Ian 'The Future' Garry has booked his Octagon bow for UFC 268 on November 5. -- clashing with Jordan 'Bomaye' Williams at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Portmarnock native, Garry, who recently made the permanent switch to Sanford MMA in Deerfield Beach, Florida -- begins his UFC contract against Williams, entering the promotion off the back of a unanimous decision victory over Jack Grant at Cage Warriors 125 in June -- clinching the vacant welterweight crown.

For Williams, the 9-5 striker is in the midst of a two-fight losing skid, most recently dropping an opening round rear-naked choke loss against Mickey Gall at UFC on ESPN 27 in July. The UFC announced the pairing in an official press release this afternoon.

Boasting an undefeated 7-0 professional record, Garry enters the UFC Octagon off the back of a seven-fight run under the ranks of the Graham Boylan-led Cage Warriors outfit.

The highly-touted prospect featured in the promotion's welterweight tournament this year, besting UFC alum, Rostem Akman with a second round highlight-reel high kick stoppage -- earning a title charge against the aforenoted multiple-time title chaser, Grant.

Turning in a calculated performance over the course of five rounds, the 23-year-old striker managed to clinch the vacant welterweight crown with an impressive unanimous decision win -- before inking a multi-fight deal with the Dana White-led UFC in the following weeks.

Wisconsin native, Williams is booked for his third Ocatagon appearance, having dropped a promotional debut defeat to Nassourdine Imavov prior to his submission loss to Gall earlier this summer.

An alum of both Bellator MMA and Dana White's Contender Series -- the 30-year-old has lodged an eye-catching seven knockout wins from his 13-fight professional career.

UFC 268 takes place on November 5. from Madison Square Garden in New York, with a welterweight championship rematch between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington slated to take main event honours.
