Rhys McKee suggests UFC Dublin meeting with Mike Perry

Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the cancellation or postponement of cards across the board, uber Cage Warriors welterweight prospect, Rhys 'Skeletor' McKee has an ideal opponent in mind for a potential UFC debut in Dublin this August.
The Ballymena native is expected to compete for the vacant Cage Warriors welterweight gold in Belfast on September 26th. but has suggested an earlier excursion in a different promotion on August 15th. against UFC welterweight favourite, 'Platinum' Mike Perry. McKee, 24, is yet to be matched with an opponent for the 170-pound title which has been vacated by recent Bellator MMA signee, Ross 'The Hitman' Houston.
Posting to his official Twitter account on Sunday evening, the 10-2 youngster explored the idea of an exciting clash with the always entertaining, Mike Perry come the promotion's return to Dublin in August.

McKee has been tipped for an eventual Octagon call over the course of the prior twelve months - aided by three straight stoppage wins since his Cage Warriors bow back in 2018. The Northern Irelander joined up with Graham Boylan's promotion following a loss to Terry Brazier back at BAMMA London in 2018 and hasn't faltered since.
The Next Generation MMA trainee lodged two knockout victories over Jefferson George and Hakon Foss, sandwiched between a guillotine stoppage of Perry Andre Goodwin. The well-rounded Rodney Moore product would link up with former Cage Warriors light heavyweight champion, Modestas Bukauskas, as well as former lightweight champion, and one-time opponent, Jai Herbert with a move to the UFC for the August event.
