A bantamweight pairing between recent division returnee, Sijara 'Sarj' Eubanks, and Sarah 'Cheesecake' Moras, has been rescheduled from the postponed April 18th. UFC 249 card - and is now expected to feature at a UFC Fight Night event on May 13th. in Jacksonville, Florida. News of the planned pairing was first reported by The Sports Daily reporter, Jeff Fox.

Former TUF finalist, Eubanks, will look to prevent a third straight defeat at bantamweight as she tackles Moras, while her Canadian counterpart looks to improve to 2-0 since her three-fight slid between 2018 and 2019.

Massachusetts native, Eubanks, was forced from the inaugural UFC flyweight title match against Nicco Montaño due to kidney issues from the effects of weight-cutting and was subsequently replaced by veteran grappler, Roxanne Modafferi back in December 2017, after securing three victories on the show. After a flyweight victory over Lauren Murphy, Eubanks tipped the scales at 127.2 pounds for her own pairing with Modafferi - winning via a unanimous decision in the process. A move to bantamweight last year hasn't proven all that fruitful in terms of results, with quickfire defeats coming against Aspen Ladd, and Bethe Correira.

For Moras, weight-cutting woes overshadowed her successful outing versus Liana Jojua last time out - as she tipped the scales at 138-pounds for the bantamweight clash. Before the return to the win-column, Moras had dropped three consecutive losses to Macy Chiasson, Talita Bernardo, and Lucie Pudilová. The 31-year-old joined the UFC back in 2014, but has dropped admirable defeats to former strawweight champion, Jéssica Andrade, and former 135-pound title challenger, Raquel Pennington in her career. In 2011, under the Conquest of the Cage banner, Moras defeated future TUF victor, Julianna Peña.

The UFC Fight Night event will take place on May 13th. from the VyStar Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. The card is expected to be headlined by a light heavyweight meeting of former championship challengers, Anthony Smith, and Glover Teixeira. Former interim light heavyweight title challenger, Ovince Saint Preux is expected to make a heavyweight outing for the first time, as he takes on Ben Rothwell. At 135-pounds, former flyweight title challenger, Ray Borg is set to meet with Ricky Simón.
