Alistair Overeem and Mark Hunt to rematch at UFC 209:

Former UFC Heavyweight title challenger Alistair 'The Reem' Overeem, is expected to face New Zealand knockout artist Mark Hunt at UFC 209 in Las Vegas. Hunt took to his official Facebook page last night to post the poster of the bout between himself and Overeem, with the caption "Back to work...". 'Super Samoan' Hunt, hasn't featured in the octagon since his hugely controversial loss to former UFC Heavyweight champion and WWE personality Brock Lesnar. Lesnar subsequently failed his pre-fight and in-competition drug test and was flagged by the United States Anti-Doping Agency. The tested samples included the estrogen blocker 'clomiphene', commonly associated with athletes who are attempting to restart their testosterone cycle after a period of steroid use. Hunt was rightfully audible in his opinion on the matter, telling how he was planing on bringing the Ultimate Fighting Championship to court over the situation, and called to receive all of Lesnar's then record $2,500,000 purse for the event, recently surpassed by UFC Lightweight champion Conor McGregor, who recieved a staggering $3,000,000 at UFC 202 in his rematch against Nate Diaz. Rumours had recently circulated that Hunt was pursuing a clause in his fight contract which would guarantee him majority purse as compensation if Overeem were to fail a drug test, with the Dutch icon failing an April 2012 drug test in the lead up to his UFC Heavyweight title bout against Junior Dos Santos back at UFC 146. The permitted testosterone-to-epitestosterone ratio by the Nevada State Athletic Comission in 6-1, while Overeem's test sample returned at 14-1, subsequently forcing Dana White to withdraw him from the card and replace him with Frank Mir, whom JDS stopped in the second round. Overeem last competed at UFC 203, in the main event where he challenged Stipe Miocic for the UFC Heavyweight championship, before being stopped in the first round by the Cleveland, Ohio favourite. Both Overeem and Hunt have face each other before, with Overeem winning via an Americana at DREAM 5 in 2008.
