Paul Daley scores stunning flying knee finish over Brennan Ward:
Former UFC Welterweight contender Paul 'Semtex' Daley, delivered on his promise of a spectacular finish at Bellator 170, as he scored a flying knee knockout over opponent Brennan Ward in the first round of their co-main event clash. Ward was dominating the opening exchanges, landing two impressive takedowns, and even forcing Nottingham's Daley against the cage for a brief moment. A second takedown for Ward led to a scramble before a vicious spinning elbow from Daley brushed past the head of Ward, sending him back-pedalling, before Daley advanced and with a brutal flying knee, stopped 'The Irish Bad Boy'. Daley told how he felt for Ward after the brutal finish, but welcomed a bout with former UFC Welterweight title challenger Rory MacDonald in the process.
