Ryan Hall returns at UFC Oklahoma City, meets Ricardo Lamas

A featherweight matchup between feared submission-specialist, Ryan 'The Wizard' Hall, and talented wrestler, Ricardo 'Bully' Lamas is slated for UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City on May 2nd. - according to an initial report by MMA DNA's Marcel Dorff.
Supreme Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu player, Hall - has amassed three-straight wins since his Ultimate Fighter triumph back in 2015 over Artem Lobov. The Virginia native has managed victories over former lightweight title challenger, Gray Maynard, the gritty Darren Elkins, and most recently, former lightweight and welterweight best, B.J. Penn. Hall, 35, recently revealed how he had been turned down by many of his featherweight peers as of late, including the heavy-hitting, Josh Emmett, and Brazilain contender, Renato Moicano. On May 2nd. - the 2008 World Jiu-Jitsu Championships gold medalist will get his wish of a return to action, meeting 145-pound veteran, Lamas.
37-year-old wrestler, Ricardo Lamas, had failed to reach heights similar to his 2014 featherweight title-tilt against José Aldo - but looks to secure a promising name for his win column in the form of Hall. The Illinois native dropped an opening-frame defeat to Calvin Kattar recently, after a brief return to the win column with a strikes stoppage of the aforementioned, Elkins. Over the course of his storied twelve-year career, Lamas has managed wins over Diego Sanchez, Cub Swanson, Erik Koch, Dennis Bermudez, Hacran Dias, and lightweight contender, Charles Oliveira to name a few.
UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City takes place on May 2nd. from the Chesapeake Energy Arena - headlined by a middleweight pairing of Jack Hermansson and former division champion, Chris Weidman. In strawweight action, former title challenger, Cláudia Gadelha makes her return as she squares-off with Muay Thai expert, Marina Rodriguez. Veteran light heavyweight Ed Herman features as he takes on Da Un Jung - while heavyweights meet in the former of Andrei Arlovski, and Philipe Lins. At 135-pounds, Sarah Alpar takes on Vanessa Melo. In a recently announced featherweight tie, Bryce Mitchell makes his return as he meets with Charles Rosa.
