UFC Fight Night Brasília on March 14th. - will continue as scheduled, but due to the novel coronavirus, the event will now take place behind closed doors, and with a closed gate.

The event was originally scheduled to take place at the Ginásio Nilson Nelson, but due to the recent confirmation of cases within the countries capital, the event has been forced to close it's gate to ticket holders. This precaution follows the cancellation of Thursday's media-day - while Friday's ceremonial weigh-ins have also been called off as a precautionary measure. News of the altered event was first reported by Combate writers, José Mauricio Oliveira, Raphael Marinho, and Zeca Azevedo.

News follows the Federal District government's decision to suspend all public events after the confirmation of a number of cases in the capital. With Brasília becoming the first UFC host affected by the coronavirus outbreak, we can expect the promotion to possibly follow suit with it's upcoming UFC Fight Night London event, with the U.K. expected to increase it's escalation nationwide. Questions still remain if UFC Fight Night Columbus will continue later this month - following Ohio's Governor, Mike Dewine's calling for the public to take precautionary measures ahead of large gatherings.
