An intriguing light-heavyweight clash between two-time title challenger, Dominick 'The Devastator' Reyes and recent promotional debutante, Jiři 'Denisa' Procházka is currently in the works to take headlining honours at a UFC Fight Night event on February 27th. - with a location or venue for the showcase yet to be determined by the promotion.

California-born striker, Reyes looks to snap a two-fight slide at 205-pounds, following a recent UFC 253 vacant title challenge knockout loss to current titleholder, Jan Błachowicz in September.

For Czech Republic native, Procházka, the former RIZIN FF light heavyweight champion made good on his UFC call at UFC 251 in July also on 'Fight Island' - scoring a second-round knockout win over one-time championship chaser, Volkan Oezdemir. News of the targeted tie was initially reported by ESPN MMA reporter, Brett Okamoto

Prior to his above-noted knockout loss to Polish finisher, Błachowicz - Reyes had dropped his first professional defeat earlier this year in February at UFC 247 in a hugely-contentious unanimous decision defeat to former two-time division best, Jon Jones.

Like, Procházka - Reyes also holds a career win over common-foe, Oezdemir, lodging a close split decision win over the Switzerland native. During his climb to the light heavyweight summit, Reyes scored victories over former middleweight best, Chris Weidman, one-time interim championship challenger, Ovince Saint Preux, and middleweight contender, Jared Cannonier of note.

Procházka, 28 - extended his unbeaten run to a whopping eleven-fights with his knockout win over Oezdemir this summer. Putting pen to paper on a multi-fight deal with the promotion, Procházka holds other notable career triumphs against the likes of Fábio Maldonado, C.B.
