Report: RIZIN FF Champion Seo Hee Ham Pens Deal With ONE Championship

RIZIN FF super atomweight world champion, Seo Hee Ham has vacated her crown - after jotting a deal to link up with Chatri Sityodtong's ONE Championship promotion in Singapore.

The former UFC contender inks a multi-fight deal with the promotion in the midst of a six-fight win streak, which most recently featured a super atomweight title win at RIZIN 20 on December 31st. last. News of Ham's signature was first penned by Japanese outlet, EFight

The 33-year-old earned the throne with a close split decision win over veteran former Invicta FC atomweight best, Ayaka Hamasaki. Prior to the victory, the South Korean had notched other wins over the decorated wrestler, Miyuu Yamamoto, as well as lodging the Road FC atomweight crown with a third-round knockout win over Mina Kurobe - before successful defences against recent UFC newcomer, former Invicta FC atomweight titleholder, Jinh Yu Frey, and Jeong Eun-Park. 

During her stint under the UFC's banner between 2014 and 2016, Ham, who had returned to the 115-pound strawweight limit dropped a 1-3 promotional résumé - notching a win over Cortney Casey between losses to Joanne Calderwood, Bec Rawlings, and Danielle Taylor. 

With her move to ONE Championship, Ham joins a talent pool at atomweight which features the likes of Stamp Fairtex, Mei Yamaguchi, Lin Heqin, Meng Bo, Denice Zamboanga, and reigning champion, Angela Lee.
