Referee John Sharp was out third man in the octagon for this one, with Arlovski scoring a massive spinning back to the body of Marcin, before a second kick was caught by the Pole who is a nasty grappler, with four RNC victories. In the closed guard, Tybura was trying to land some ground and pound, with the Belarusian defending well so far. Tybura then took the back, before mounting and laying down hammerfists on Arlovski, with John Sharp watching closely. Arlovski was in a terrible position against Tybura, as he ate countless shots. Arlovski managed to recover and back on the feet, swarmed Tybura, as the round closed, both men looked exhausted. First round for Tybura.
Arlovski landed cleanly at the beginning of the second round, before engaging in the clinch with Tybura. Arlovski completed a trip for his first takedown of the bout, as Tybura seemed completely drained after that first round onslaught. John Sharp called a break from the clinch as Arlovski began to land once more as the round closed. Second round goes tk Arlovski.
The third and final round again seen some more clinch work from both men as Arlovski defended the single leg of Marcin Tybura. Massive takedown in terms of impact and importance for Tybura, as he looked to step over into mount. Tybura then established full mount, as the Pole looked to posture up and finish this fight. Tybura was then scrambled by Arlovski as they go the distance.
