Jessica Eye V Aspen Ladd: What will go down:

Huge career implications for Jessica Eye.
The opening bout of the Fox Sports 1 prelims of The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption finale, sees the promotion debut of 22 year-old knockout artist Aspen Ladd, as she takes on the recently disappointing Jessica 'Evil' Eye.

California star Ladd, made her professional bow under the Invicta banner back in 2015, finishing both Ana Carolina Vidal and Amanda Bobby Cooper to garner much media attention. Aspen displayed her striking skills as she KO'ed Vidal, before submitting 'ABC' Cooper with an armbar towards the end of the second round in their meeting. Despite her impressive record as of writing, Ladd has been gifted a real pushover of an opponent as she takes on the once dominant Jessica Eye.

With one win in her last five UFC outings, Eye's form has completely diminished after her seven fight unbeaten run between 2011 and 2012, which seen her receive a call from the UFC. Eye was defeated by Brazil's Bethe Correia last time out, adding to defeats against former champ Miesha Tate, Sara McMann and Julianna Peña. Eye's one and only UFC win came at UFC 180 as Leslie Smith's cauliflower ear split open, forcing a doctor's stoppage. Eye is currently unranked in the Women's Bantamweight division, but an unlikely win over the up and coming Aspen Ladd may rejuvenate her faltering career.

Aspen Ladd via knockout.
