RDA goes the distance in Saffiedine win:

Who awaits RDA next?
An explosive opening to UFC Fight Night Singapore, as two former world champions clash, with former Lightweight king Rafael Dos Anjos taking on former Strikeforce Welterweight champ Tarec Saffiedine in his Welterweight debut. Both men are strikers at heart no doubt so a mostly striking affair is hugely likely. Exciting contest.

The opening of three scheduled rounds was opened promisingly for Tarec, striking well and engaging a clinch heavy game early. Some good close knees inside the clinch seemed to have a good effect for RDA, who then scored the opening takedown with a sharp double leg. Back on the feet, Dos Anjos was scoring some really precise shots with Saffiedine backing away as the first round came to it's close.

RDA was so far looking comfortable at Welterweight, before Saffiedine landed that damaging leg kick once more. The aggressive approach from Dos Anjos was proving successful so far, with Saffiedine falling into the front head lock of the Brazilian. RDA landed a knee with Saffiedine's knee firmly placed on the canvas, meaning he was a grounded opponent, but the referee was oblivious to it. Saffiedine was beginning to look quite tired as the second round ended, with RDA dragging him to the canvas. Definite round for the Brazilian Dos Anjos.

Our third and final round began with a good kick to the body by RDA, who was really ripping to the body with his aggressive style. Tarec was looking very laboured as he looked to land to something substantial throughout the round. With just 40 second left in the contest, RDA had Tarec at his will with the final buzzer sounding to end the contest.

The judges eventually handed a deserved win for RDA who's aggressive, pace pushing style was the key in his Welterweight debut win.
