Gallagher and Ellenor have been paired for the third time.

Hopefully - it's third time lucky for these pair of bantamweight prospects. Submission-specialists, James 'The Strabanimal' Gallagher, and Cal 'Pacino' Ellenor have twice been matched and failed to meet at Bellator Dublin over the course of the last twelve months. Per a press release from the promotion, the two will headline Bellator London on May 16th. - with former rugby player, James Haskell, also making his professional debut on the card.

Last September, Gallagher and Ellenor were expected to headline Bellator Dublin at the 3Arena - until Ellenor was forced to withdraw from the headlining bout after a misread MRI scan led to a physician refusing to medically clear him to compete. This Saturday, in Dublin once more, Straight Blast Gym mainstay, Gallagher, was expected to meet Ellenor in the main event, but this time around, it was the Strabane native forced to withdraw from the meeting, due to a back injury. With the matchup falling to the wayside for a second time, a featherweight pairing of Leah McCourt and Judith Ruis will serve as the event headliner.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu player, Gallagher, last featured in September, lodging a quickfire guillotine win over UFC alumni, Roman Salazar as the Arizonian served as a short-notice replacement. With the blistering victory, Gallagher improved to 10-1 as a professional, and extended his win-streak to three, following a unanimous decision win over Jeremiah Labiano, and a submission of Steven Graham.

May will serve as Ellenor's second appearance under the Bellator banner, following a debut rear-naked choke triumph over Nathan Greyson back in February of last year. Cal 'Pacino', similarly to Gallagher is revered for his offensive grappling ability, with thirteen victories coming via submission between the pair.
