Jake Paul To Dana White: Maybe It's Time To Pay Your Fighters Their Fair Share

Appearing at UFC 261 on Saturday night, polarizing YouTuber and undefeated professional boxer, Jake Paul has commented on UFC president, Dana White's alleged $1 million bet with Snoop Dogg, urging the promotional leader to pay the roster their "fair share".

Paul, who arrived at the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida prior to Saturday's main card, was the subject of numerous "f*ck Jake Paul" chants throughout the night, with former two-weight champion and colour-commentator, Daniel Cormier confronting Paul in between fights amid the Calabasas resident's recent tirade against him on social media. 

Headlining a Triller Fight Club event on April 17th. -- Paul met with former UFC welterweight contender, one-time Bellator and ONE Championship welterweight champion, Ben Askren in a professional boxing match. Improving to 3-0 as a professional, Paul stopped Askren with an opening round knockout, via an overhand right. 

In the week since, speculation has been rife as to who Paul is likely to meet next, with the likes of Bellator grappler, Dillion Danis, the above-mentioned, Cormier, as well as UFC alum, former undisputed welterweight gold holder, Tyron Woodley all subjects of callouts. 

Whilst the aforenoted, White denied ever betting $1 million with Snoop Dogg that Askren would beat Paul, the 24-year-old Ohio native maintains he did, before urging the longtime promotional leader to pay the UFC roster their fair share, amid a public negotiation fallout with former two-time light heavyweight best, Jon Jones.

"Dana (White) you claimed you would bet $1M on me losing," Paul tweeted. "Set up (Ben) Askren to train with Freddie Roach... gave him full access to (the) UFC PI (Performance Institute)... and he still got his ass handed to him. Seems like you are the real douche... not Ariel (Helwani). In my 3rd. fight I made more more (sic) in total pay than any fighter in UFC history."

"Maybe it's time to pay your fighters their fair share? No wonder they all want to get into boxing. Dana you say you make fights fans want to see... so hurry up and make (Jon) Jones vs. (Francis) N'gannou (sic). Pay them their fair share... $10M purse for each guy, plus PPV (points). Why are (the) UFC fighters so underpaid vs. boxers? Why did I make more in my 3rd. fight than all but (Khabib (Nurmagomedov) and Conor (McGregor) UFC fighters have in history? I know why..."

White had declared this week that Jones had requested a "guaranteed" paycheck of $30 million to stand opposite the above-mentioned, Ngannou in much-anticipated heavyweight title fight this summer. And as a result, the promotion is likely to move in the direction of a re-run between Ngannou and the surging contender, Derrick Lewis. 

Jackson-Wink MMA mainstay, Jones had denied mentioning that fee during any conversation with White or the promotion's EVP and Chief Business Officer, Hunter Campbell -- questioning if somebody may be speaking on his behalf.
