Kevin Lee Offers To Fight Conor McGregor At UFC 264 On July 10th.

If former two-weight UFC champion, Conor McGregor is serious in regards to finding a new opponent on July 10th. and ditching his trilogy, rubber-match against Dustin Poirier -- former interim title challenger, Kevin Lee has offered his services for the pay-per-view event.

Involved in a public spat over social media yesterday, Poirier and McGregor engaged in verbal back-and-forths, with Poirier openly detailing how despite pledging to donate five-hundred thousand to The Good Fight Foundation prior to their January rematch, McGregor and his team have allegedly failed to make good on their donation.

In response, McGregor claimed that he was still waiting for a detailed plan from Poirier and the foundation to come through, claiming that with charitable foundations, money often tends to go "walking" rather than finding its way to its intended location.

Apparently calling off the pairing altogether, McGregor claimed that he will be fighting somebody else on July 10th. at UFC 264 -- with Poirier responding with a video clip of him knocking McGregor out at UFC 257 earlier this year.

Taking to his official Twitter account amid the fallout between Poirier and McGregor, the #13 ranked Lee claimed that he'd be ready to compete on July 10th. against McGregor. 

"I can be ready by July 10th." Lee wrote on his Twitter.

Recovering from a pair of ACL tears following his UFC Fight Night Brasilia guillotine loss to Charles Oliveira in March of last year, Lee had initially targeted a summer return against former-foe, Tony Ferguson, who has since matched with Beneil Dariush at UFC 262 on May 15th.

Plying his trade under Firas Zahabi at Tristar MMA, Lee's most recent Octagon triumph came at UFC 244 back in November of 2019 at Madison Square Garden, handing Gregor Gillespie his first professional defeat via a highlight-reel opening round high-kick.
