Report - Amanda Ribas vs. Virna Jandiroba Slated For UFC 267 on October 30th.

An all-Brazilian strawweight pairing between Amanda Ribas and Virna Jandiroba has been added to UFC 267 on October 30th. -- with 'Fight Island' in Abu Dhabi, UAE tentatively expected to host the pay-per-view event. 

Set to make her second Octagon walk of the year, popular grappler, Ribas returns for the first time since her first promotional loss -- dropping an eventual second round knockout defeat to compatriot, Marina Rodriguez at UFC 257 in January.

For former Invicta FC strawweight champion, Jandiroba, she will also make her second Octagon walk of this year, having returned to the winner's enclosure last month at UFC Vegas 29 -- scoring a second round doctor's stoppage victory over Kanako Murata who suffered a forearm injury. News of the pairing of Ribas and Jandiroba was first reported by Combate reporters, Marcelo Barone and Raphael Marinho

Minas Gerais native, Ribas is in line to make her sixth walk under the UFC's banner, having established a 4-1 record during her brief UFC stint so far. The 27-year-old managed to debut with a rear-naked choke win over Emily Whitmire, before taking unanimous decision successes against both Mackenzie Dern and Randa Markos.
 
Prior to her knockout loss to Rodriguez, Ribas took home a high-profile first round armbar win over upcoming BKFC headliner, Paige VanZant last July at UFC 251 -- also on 'Fight Island'.

17-2 as a professional, Jandiroba has managed to lodge an eye-catching 13 separate submission wins across her career, including two under the UFC's banner. 

A four-fight veteran of the UFC, the former Invicta FC gold holder went on a 2-0 run prior to a unanimous judging loss to common-foe, Dern, which included an armbar win over division mainstay, Felice Herrig and a rear-naked choke success against Mallory Martin.

UFC 267 takes place on October 30th. -- with a light heavyweight championship bout between defending gold holder, Jan Blachowicz and the #1 ranked contender, Glover Teixeira booked to feature at the pay-per-view showcase.
