Peter Queally vs. Patricky Pitbull II Set To Co-Headline Bellator Dublin On November 5th.

A lightweight rematch between the #4 ranked contender, Peter 'The Showstopper' Queally and the #1 ranked contender, Patricky 'Pitbull' Freire has been booked to take co-main event status at Bellator Dublin on November 5th. from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
Initially meeting at Bellator 258 in May at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, Queally managed to open up a massive laceration on the hairline of Freire from full guard, resulting in a doctor's stoppage victory for the Waterford native.
Prior to his win over Freire, Queally managed to scoop a massive second round rallying knockout triumph over Ryan Scope back at Bellator Dublin in September 2019.
Rio Grande do Sol native, Freire fell to his second consecutive defeat in his May outing against Queally, following a Rizin lightweight Grand Prix finale defeat against Tofiq Musayev in December 2019 in a unanimous judging loss. The promotion confirmed the pairing this afternoon in an official press release.
Improving to 2-1 under the Scott Coker-led banner, Queally, a staple of Straight Blast Gym, debuted in the promotion with a close split decision loss to former teammate and now-American Kickboxing Academy trainee, Myles Price back at Bellator 217 in February 2019.
A former Fight Nights Global feature, Queally, who boasts a 13-5-1 professional record, has bested the likes of Konrad Iwanowski, Roberto Rigamonti, Nathan Jones, Decky Dalton, Igor Egorov, and David Khachatryan.
A former Bellator lightweight title challenger and tournament finalist, Freire, the elder-brother of current lightweight gold holder and former featherweight champion, Patricio Freire -- himself holds a 23-10 professional record.
Prior to his loss against Musayev, Freire embarked on an eye-catching seven-fight undefeated run, which included wins over Josh Thomson, Benson Henderson, Derek Campos, Roger Huerta, common-foe, Scope, Tatsuya Kawajiri, and Luiz Gustavo.
Bellator Dublin takes place on November 5th. from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland -- with a bantamweight main event between James 'The Strabanimal' Gallagher and one-time bantamweight title challenger, Patchy 'No Love' Mix scheduled.
