Ross Houston Set To Return At Bellator 269, Meets Grachik Bozinyan On October 23.

Former Cage Warriors welterweight champion and recent Bellator MMA newcomer, Ross 'The Hitman' Houston is set for his second outing under the Scott Coker-led banner, featuring against welterweight finisher, Grachik Bozinyan at Bellator 269 from the VTB Arena in Moscow, Russia.

Making his walk under the promotion's scrutiny back in Inverness native, Houston dropped his first professional loss in the form of a unanimous decision defeat against upcoming London Shootfighters headliner, Michael Page.

For two-fight Bellator veteran, the Armenian managed to score his first victory under the promotion's banner back at Bellator 257 in April -- lodging a unanimous decision win over Demarques Jackson. News of the pairing between Houston and Bozinyan was first reported by Armenian MMA on Twitter.

30-year-old grappler, Houston entered the Bellator cage off the back of an eventual No Contest outing against Nicolas Dalby at Cage Warriors 106 back in June 2019. The welterweight kingpin was released by the Graham Boylan-led Cage Warriors promotion in order to pen a multi-fight deal with Bellator MMA.

Meeting with Page at Bellator Paris in October of last year, Houston suffered his first professional loss against the upcoming Bellator London main event feature -- snapping a run of eight-fights unbeaten. 

During his Cage Warriors tenure, the Scotland native managed eye-catching victories over the likes of Aaron Khalid (x2), Nathan Jones, as well as Stefano Paterno.

11-4 as a professional, 26-year-old Wushu Sanda practitioner, Bozinyan debuted in the Bellator cage back in November 2019 at Bellator 234 where he suffered a unanimous decision defeat against incoming middleweight title challenger, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace, Austin Vanderford. 

Prior to his move to Bellator, Bozinyan featured three-times under the ACB banner, where he defeated the pair of Arslan Eslemesov and Shamil Abdulkhalikov with first round triangles.

Bellator 269 takes place on October 23. from the VTB Arena in Moscow, Russia -- with a heavyweight headliner between former Pride FC heavyweight champion and Grand Prix victor, Fedor Emelianenko and recent nterim title challenger, Timothy Johnson set.
