Report - Anderson Silva vs. Tito Ortiz Targeted For Triller Boxing Match On September 11th.

A professional boxing match between former UFC middleweight champion, Anderson 'The Spider' Silva, and former UFC light heavyweight titleholder, 'The Huntington Beach Bad Boy' Tito Ortiz is currently in the works to feature at a Triller Fight Club event on September 11th. from the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California.
Per a report, this evening from MMA Fighting reporters, Damon Martin and Guilherme Cruz, a boxing match between recent feature, Silva and professional debutante, Ortiz is currently targeted to land on the undercard of the professional boxing headliner between former world champion, Oscar De La Hoya and Silva's past-foe and compatriot, Vitor Belfort.
Silva's last outing under his prior stomping ground of the year came last October at UFC Vegas 12 where he suffered a fourth round knockout defeat to recent main event feature, Uriah Hall.

For Ortiz, the 46-year-old, who resigned as Mayor pro tempore in his native Huntington Beach last in June, having initially joined the council in December, last competed in professional competition under the Combate Americas (Global) banner back in December of 2019 -- taking a first round rear-naked choke win over former WWE professional wrestler, Alberto El Patron.
According to the aforementioned report, the targeted bout between Silva and Ortiz would take place at a prior agreed catchweight of 195lbs.
