Cork's Patrick Lehane Set For Bout Against Isaac Rueles At Combate Global Event On September 10th.

Recent one-night Combate Global four-man European tournament victory, Patrick 'The Leech' Lehane is set to compete for the third time in just under two months -- with a matchup opposite Isaac 'El Guapo' Rueles reportedly set for an event on September 10th. under the Cambell McClaren-led organization's banner. 

Making his professional mixed martial arts debut less than two weeks ago at the beginning of August -- competing in the Combate Global one-night European four-man tournament.

First matching with Sebas Santana Guedes in the tournament's semi-final bracket, Lehane managed to strike rich in his first professional bow -- landing an impressive unanimous judging triumph.

Later in the night, after progressing to the final bracket, Lehane met with French grappler, Maxime Giacolone -- finishing the FKA trainee with ground strikes before the close of the opening round.

For promotional newcomer, Rueles he makes his first walk under the promotion's scrutiny, having put pen to paper on a deal with the organization last month. News of Lehane's return opposite Rueles was first reported by Severe MMA reporter, Sean Sheehan

Cork native, Lehane, who plys his trade under the Cork banner of Straight Blast Gym -- makes a quickfire turnaround following his successful pair of outings in the McClaren-led promotion, returning to action less than a month later.

Muay Thai striker, Rueles is a product of the Renzo Gracie & Thai Boxing Camp -- boasting a 
4-2 professional mixed martial arts record from six professional outings.

The Mexico City-born striker last featured professionally at the inaugural Gamebred Fighting Championship event -- headed up by two-time UFC welterweight title challenger, Jorge Masvidal -- dropping a split judging defeat to Joshua Weems. 

In four professional wins, Rueles has scored three knockout stoppages against the trio of David Gonzalez, Jonathan Guzman, and Beto Barra -- to go with a unanimous decision success when pitted with Alan Maldonado.
