UFC Singapore sees Holly Holm and Bethe Correia main event:

Holly Holm will look to end her disappointing three fight slide against 'Pitbull' Correia:
June 17th marks the UFC's return to Singapore, and will also serve as former division champ Holly Holm's first outing back at Bantamweight after an unsuccessful 145lbs title clash against Germaine de Randamie, as she welcomes Brazil's Bethe Correia to the octagon, in what is surely a must win for 'The Preachers Daughter'.

With her UFC 193 victory over former champ Ronda Rousey, her main claim to fame in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, an unfortunate rear-naked choke loss to Miesha Tate at UFC 196, was followed by a defeat against Valentina 'Bullet' Shevchenko, before the aforementioned UFC 208 loss to GDR, which was of course, marred by controversy.

One of the highest caliber of strikers in Women's MMA, behind maybe de Randamie and Cris 'Cyborg', Holm is recognised as one of the biggest cross over stars in UFC history, bringing with her a seasoned boxing career, and titles from the likes of the IBA and the WBC. Her boxing career led to three world titles in three different weight classes, and a staggering 16 successful defences.

Opponent 'Pitbull' Correia on the otherhand, hasn't witnessed the same success as Holm, with her most eye catching victory occurring at UFC 177, in the form of a KO win over Shayna Baszler, and a recent UFC 203 win over Jessica 'Evil' Eye. Correia of course challenged then 135lbs queen Ronda Rousey at UFC 190 after her finish of Baszler, but was dually brought back down to earth by Rousey, who scored a knockout win in just 34 seconds.

Huge matchup for both ladies, as Holm faces "win or bust" while the 'Pitbull' Bethe Correia will look to bring a rise in her stock with a win over the former champ.
