Ryan Bader granted immediate title shot against Phil Davis:

Two former UFC opponents will rekindle rivalry this summer.
Former UFC Light Heavyweight contender Ryan 'Darth' Bader, has been awarded an immediate Bellator Light Heavyweight title opportunity, as he takes on fellow American Phil 'Mr. Wonderful' Davis in the main event of Bellator 180 at Madison Square Garden. After a November 2016 win over Antonio Rogerio Nogueria, Bader began testing the free agent market, before signing with Scott Coker's Bellator in March. After his win against Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson, 'King Mo' Muhammed Lawal announced his willingness to welcome the wrestler to the promotion, but it has since been confirmed on Ariel Helwani's MMA Hour, that Bader will meet Davis for the second time in his career, this time for all the marbles. As part of a dominant five fight win streak, Bader picked up a split decision win over Davis in Stockholm in 2015, a huge career highlight for him, but the 205lbs Bellator king, has been hugely successful since, finishing both Emanuel Newton and Francis Carmont, before dispatching 'King Mo' and just last November, inflicted British fighter Liam McGeary's first professional defeat, when he claimed the coveted crown. Really interesting rematch considering Davis' recent domination, both wrestling backgrounds and of course the ever dangerous Bader.
