Chris Weidman V Gegard Mousasi: What will go down:

Gegard Mousasi looks like the animal of old heading into UFC 210.
Former UFC Middleweight champion Chris 'The All American' Weidman returns to the octagon this weekend, as he faces Dutch star Gegard Mousasi in the co-main event of UFC 210 in Buffalo, New York. A former DREAM and Strikeforce Light Heavyweight champ, and Cage Warriors and DREAM Middleweight king, Mousasi is one of the most successful and underrated fighters in MMA today. With wins against 'Babalu', 'Cyborg' Santos, Melvin Manhoef, Ronaldo Souza, Dan Henderson, Hector Lombard, Mark Hunt and Vitor Belfort to lay on the table, Mousasi will look to add another former champ in the form of Weidman to his win record. Despite two successive KO losses to Luke Rockhold and Yoel Romero, the former 185lbs king, finished Anderson Silva, the aforementioned Belfort, Mark Muñoz and decisioned Lyoto Machida and is no slouch in the striking affairs. A 2x Division I All-American Wrestler and a brutal striker, on his day Weidman is capable of stopping the best of the best, evident from his first fight against Anderson Silva, dropping the Brazilian to win in the second round. Mousasi will have to be very weary of the wrestler prowess of Weidman, but in my opinion, Mousasi does possess the better striking, with an incredible 22 KO victories to his name. The stand up exchanges aren't the only possible factor if Mousasi wants to be successful, but the grappling and Judo black belt of 'The Dreamcatcher' is a hugely underestimated component of his well rounded game. For this reason I believe Gegard's more rounded game will lead him to victory, particularly his accurate and precise striking style.

Gegard Mousasi via knockout.
